These terms apply to your use of foursmart.uk (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. They do not govern the services we provide to clients, which are covered by section 8.
1. About us
The site is operated by Four Smart Limited, a company registered in England & Wales, company no. 16776979, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. Contact: hello@foursmart.uk.
2. Information on the site
The site is for general information about our services. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date but make no promise that it is complete or current. Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the site:
- in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- to send spam, malware or any content that is abusive, misleading or infringes anyone's rights;
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or to disrupt or overload it (including by automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on it); or
- to submit false information or impersonate another person through the contact form.
We may block access to the site, or ignore submissions, where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
4. Contact form and enquiries
When you send us a message, you confirm the information you give is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract between you and us or any obligation on either side. We will handle your data as described in our privacy notice.
5. Intellectual property
The site and its content, including text, design, logos and the Four Smart name and marks, are owned by or licensed to Four Smart Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and share its pages by link for your own non-commercial or internal business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute its content, or use our names and logos, without our written permission. Some photographs are used under the Unsplash licence and the icons under the ISC licence (Lucide).
6. Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party sites, which are outside our control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and because the site is provided free of charge: (a) the site and its content are provided "as is" and we give no warranties, express or implied, about them; (b) we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or from reliance on its content; and (c) we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or free from errors or viruses.
8. Our services
Any services we provide, including fractional CTO, technology consultancy and AI and data work, are supplied by Four Smart Limited under a separate written agreement or statement of work with the client. Those terms take precedence over anything on this site.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or the site at any time. The version on this page, with the date above, is the one that applies when you use the site.
10. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the site (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
